I received some great news from Ooligan Press today about the Wax Bullet War:
We recently got word from our reps at Ingram that Wax Bullet War was chosen as a “reps pick” for the American Bookseller’s Association’s annual Winter Institute conference. Sales reps will be presenting your book to booksellers from across the country, and it also means that it will be featured in an ad that will run in Booklist’s Winter Institute issue. This is a first for an Ooligan book, and it will give it some really great extra publicity (hopefully this means it will reach even more of the people who need to hear your story).
So congratulations”
And more great news: We’re going to have an incredible new issue of Spilt Infinitive in only a few days which will include some amazing writers. We have a great team of editors on our digital literary magazine and I’m very proud that one of my paintings will be the cover this time around. I painted this a few years ago after the myth of Icarus. Look for it all at the begining of the year.
Talking about art I wanted to let everyone know that my brother and I will be featured at Six Days Gallery right in the middle of the Alberta Arts Gallery for all of January! We will have a reading of short stories and poetry on Friday, January 17th! I hope you can come down.
And last but not least, we’ve finally made some progress on the next Rough Men Stand Ready anthology. We will be having some readings the begining of this new year and the anthology is in the editing phase. I hope to have it out on the book shelves by spring.
