Irony Feeds Divinity Project

Hey, I’ve started a new project on Patreon. I know, you probably get these types of things, but this is a new religious satire. Each week I put out a couple new chapters along with an illustration. I wrote the book, and I’m drawing the illustrations. Look, here’s one now:

There is a lot to this book. I started writing it when I was in Iraq during the war. I still don’t understand why people go to war with each other. I don’t understand religion either. But this isn’t a book that makes fun of people for being religious or having faith. It’s me trying to understand.

Anyway, here is the first Chapter —-> LINK

Here’s the first illustration. I’ll put it here because I already shared it on FB and Insta. But you’ll have to sign up (only $5 a month, yo) to see the others.

Yeah, Pizzas and Bunnies are going to be a running theme. There’s a reason for that but you’ll have to read to find out.

The book starts with Cosette and Ishmael Shannon driving in desperation, without a place to go in mind, because their devout Irish Catholic parents kicked them out. They kicked Ish out for being a drunk Vietnam War veteran with PTSD who doesn’t want to go to church after having his faith in mankind broken when he witnessed war crimes. They kicked Cosette out because she is a sixteen year old pregnant and unwed teen, but little do any of them know that she is carrying the Messiah of our times.

So here’s how I’m working it: I read each chapter in what I hope is the final edit and then I draw an amazing illustration. I’ll share at least one of these posts with a link on social media and on this website. If you have questions or comments about the book, ask me. I’ll get back to you. It’s an interactive Holy Book. Holy shit! It’s the very first in human history.

Thank you, and Happy Holidays!
